After all, your tv is hanging there. Why shouldn’t your memories be there too?
Growing up, my grandma’s house was covered in photos and it gave little me such a sense of belonging. I was connected to the people living on her walls — I could see my nose, my smile, my eyes reflected in those images even though I may have never met the person in the photo. That is an amazing thing!
YOUR FAMILY SHOULD BE ON YOUR WALL
Instead of leaving your photos trapped on your phone, I’ll consider what will work best for your family. Maybe that’s a custom, heirloom-quality album, or maybe a collection of framed prints. I’ll walk you through choosing and ordering so you always have images that will become part of your legacy.
There’s no wrong time to celebrate a milestone. Maybe you want to celebrate moving into your first home. Maybe your little one is turning five, or your teenager just turned thirteen. Maybe they just lost those two front teeth, or they’re taking their first steps, or getting their first car (that escalated quickly). These sessions are about the moments that feel too special to skip — the chapters that tell your family’s story as it unfolds.
Wherever the moment is happening. That might mean outdoors, at home, or in the studio — especially for first steps, first lost tooth, or a milestone birthday that deserves something fun and my studio is always the perfect place for that!
In the studio, I say go all out — full of color, personality, and whatever makes your child feel most themselves. Outdoors, we’ll coordinate with the season and surroundings, but never lose the playful spirit that makes milestone sessions so special.
Milestone sessions can last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on what we’re celebrating and who we are photographing. After your session, we’ll follow the same process as my other sessions — editing takes 2–4 weeks, then we’ll meet for a viewing party where I’ll help you choose how to enjoy your portraits. You’ll see product samples and mockups for your home, and together we’ll design something that feels just right for this moment in your family’s story.
