It is cozy, authentic, and absolutely mouthwatering. Make a reservation here, you will need it! And come hungry because the food is worth it. The gnocchi is still haunting my dreams, and if you skip dessert you will regret it. The panna cotta is unforgettable.

After dinner, take a slow walk around downtown Coeur d’Alene or toward the lake. It is the perfect ending to a pregnancy date night.

Satay Bistro

Do not let the outside fool you. Over the years this spot has become one of the most consistently delicious restaurants in Coeur d’Alene.

The vibe is upbeat and bustling, especially on weekends. They have a great wine list for your partner and the food always delivers.

Whatever you do, do not skip the garlic bread.

Stylus Wine and Vinyl Bar

Nothing ages better together than good music and good wine.

Stylus Wine and Vinyl Bar is an absolute vibe. Follow them on social media because they share the music theme for the day based on the vinyl they are spinning.

It is a great place for a light dinner or appetizers for date night. And do not worry mama, they also have non alcoholic drink options so you can still enjoy something fun while soaking up the atmosphere.

Cedars Floating Restaurant

Built in 1965 and floating right where the Spokane River meets Lake Coeur d’Alene, Cedars Floating Restaurant is one of the most iconic dining spots in town.

Make a reservation and request a table by the window because the views are incredible.

The menu has a great selection of seafood and steaks so there is something for just about every pregnancy craving.

Shiki

Right on Sherman Avenue, this is one of my favorite date night spots for sushi in Coeur d’Alene.

The interior is cozy with comfortable seating that makes it easy to relax and enjoy a slower dinner. It is also a great place for a double date.

If you are planning to go on a weekend, make a reservation or order takeout and take it home or right down the street to the CDA park for a picnic.

Izzy’s Comfort Kitchen

I grew up in the South as a kid, so when I feel homesick I go straight here.

This place is the definition of feel good comfort food, and when you are pregnant sometimes that is exactly what you need. There is nothing I crave more than fried chicken during pregnancy.

They even have gluten free options that are absolutely delicious.

Beverly’s

If you are planning a fancy pregnancy date night in Coeur d’Alene, this is the place.

Beverly’s at the Coeur d’Alene Resort offers some of the best views of the lake in town.

My favorite idea is to turn the whole evening into a babymoon. Book a night at the resort, enjoy dinner at Beverly’s, order breakfast to your room the next morning, and make an appointment at the spa.

It is the perfect way to spend meaningful one on one time together before your baby arrives.

Fire Pizza

I have been going here for over ten years and it never misses. That is saying a lot.

If you want fresh fired pizza right on Sherman Avenue, this is the spot. The vibe is fun and casual, the people watching downtown is top tier, and the pizza is everything.
